Division Tasks
The Scientific Affairs Division at the college is responsible for following up on and organizing scientific and academic activities. It coordinates with academic departments regarding the scientific research plan, patents, and participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops. It also handles academic promotion files for professors and follows up on scientific publication requirements inside and outside Iraq. Additionally, it monitors postgraduate studies programs, if any, updates databases for the teaching and research staff, and communicates with the university presidency regarding official letters related to scientific affairs, continuous education, research, and development. Furthermore, the division is responsible for responding to official letters received from the university presidency or relevant authorities after coordinating with the concerned parties within the college, and submitting the required responses and reports within the specified deadlines.
